Our Data Law Department provides advice on all aspects of data regulation, its markets and applications, (including artificial intelligence), covering a wide range of legal areas, including labour law, corporate law, consumer protection, privacy, litigation and defensive investigations, compliance, antitrust, life sciences and healthcare, cybersecurity, platforms, and related products.
We assist clients in proceedings before independent authorities and agencies involved in legislation, as well as before courts, and offer tailored advice and training on all issues related to the implementation of data laws.
Development of data governance frameworks, organisational charts, internal delegation and reporting systems, including bodies and committees responsible for relevant functions (Corptech, DPO, CIO, CISO, CAIO).
Drafting and analysis of contractual agreements relating to the transfer, management or sharing of data (TSAs, data migration agreements, data processing agreements, joint controllership agreements, T&Cs); cloud computing contracts; Internet of Things (IoT), and data sharing agreements.
Review and drafting of compliance documentation (internal policies and procedures, information notices, records of processing activities, profiling, automated decisions, background checks); impact assessments (LIA, DPIA, FRIA); analysis of management control systems and certifications (including in the field of artificial intelligence).
