Giacomo Gitti mainly deals with M&A, corporate and commercial law and real estate. He regularly assists investment funds (private equity and venture capital), listed and unlisted companies, financial institutions and Italian and foreign entrepreneurs in relation to complex extraordinary transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings in a wide range of sectors (industrial, FIG, energy and real estate).
He has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating acquisition contracts, investment agreements and shareholders’ agreements, and long term commercial partnership in the context of complex extraordinary transactions. Moreover, he assisted startups and investment funds in the venture capital sector gaining an in depth expertise in the field.
Giacomo is also in charge with the development of Legance’s relationships in the so-called Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland) and supports the team dedicated to managing relations with the Benelux countries.
He is currently a member of CRINT (International Relationship Commission) of the Milan Bar and is also a mentor in several institutional programs aiming at the growth and acceleration of startups.
He graduated cum laude at the Università degli Studi di Pavia, Italy in 2003 and he attended the Academy of American and International Law, the International and Comparative Law Center of the Southwestern Legal Foundation of Dallas, Texas, in 2009.
