Federico Borgogno mainly deals with extraordinary corporate transactions, such as acquisitions, mergers, joint venture and corporate reorganizations, both at a national and at a cross-border level, for industrial and private equity clients, and Italian corporate governance matters.

In particular, Federico has gained significant expertise in connection with the drafting and negotiation of acquisition agreements, investment agreements (with particular regard to minority investments) and shareholders’ agreements, as well as different kinds of commercial agreements, such as distribution and sponsorship agreements.

Prior to joining Legance, Federico has worked for international law firms of primary standing and has been on secondment in London at the private equity team of one of them.

In 2019 Federico has been mentioned among the “senior associates to note” in Corporate, Commercial and M&A in The Legal 500.

He graduated from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi of Milan in 2009. He was admitted to the Bar in 2012.
