Donatella Ruggiero practices commercial and corporate law and focuses in particular on, M&A (both private and public), equity capital markets and real estate.

She is involved in the assistance to private equity funds, public and private companies and banks in relation to extraordinary transactions, acquisitions, majority and minority investments, joint ventures and corporate reorganizations, including major transactions in the Italian and cross-border markets. She also assists Italian entrepreneurs in transactions involving the sale of their companies and/or re-investment.

She has significant experience in drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements, commercial agreements, investment agreements, shareholders’ agreements and management incentive plans.

She graduated with the highest grades in 2018 from Luigi Bocconi University (Milan) and has had study and work experience abroad for short periods.

She is currently a candidate for a secondment program in New York (NY) at a leading US law firm for the period September 2025 – September 2026.
