Bianca Berardicurti mainly deals with litigation, domestic and international commercial and investment arbitration. She assists leading Italian and foreign financial institutions, corporations and multinational groups, in every aspect of the litigation and arbitration, including pre-litigation and pre-arbitration risk assessment, in civil, financial, commercial, banking, and aviation law. She assists clients both in court and in national and international arbitration proceedings, both institutional and ad hoc.

Bianca also provides assistance in ordinary, precautionary and arbitration proceedings concerning energy and related contracts (EPC and O&M contracts guarantees, etc.) and has gained particular experience in energy-related arbitrations.

Bianca also represents international and Italian companies in arbitration-related proceedings in front of the national courts, such as recognition and enforcement proceedings of arbitral awards.

Bianca has gained considerable experience in financial litigation, with particular reference to litigation on derivative transactions with public and private entities.

Bianca has collaborated with the chair of Civil Law at the Università degli Studi Roma Tre since 2009.

Bianca holds a Ph.D. in European Private law defending the doctoral thesis “The Derivative Contracts under an Italian law – perspective”.

In 2024, Bianca Berardicurti has been awarded “Lawyer of the year Arbitration” at the Legalcommunity Forty under 40 Awards.

Bianca Berardicurti is:

  • Member of the Advisory Board of ArbIt (the Italian Forum for Arbitration and ADR);
  • Vice president of the Italian Chapter of the Club Español del Arbitraje;
  • Member of the Cross-Institutional Task Force on Gender Diversity in Arbitral Appointments and Proceedings;
  • Fellow of the Roma Tre- Unidroit Centre for Transnational Law and International Arbitration;
  • Member of ILA – the International Law Association (Italy Branch).
