Francesca Colantoni assists both Italian and international leading financial institutions and companies in disputes concerning commercial, company, financial and bankruptcy law.

In particular, she has acquired extensive experience in financial litigation, assisting leading financial institutions and investment banks in disputes concerning the liability of financial intermediaries in relation to bond issues and derivative financial instruments. In this context, she also gained significant experience in both civil and criminal out-of-court consultancy and litigation concerning the securitization of healthcare receivables.

Francesca Colantoni has significant experience in corporate litigation, assisting both domestic and foreign leading companies in disputes concerning directors and auditors’ liability and in shareholder M&A litigation.

Francesca Colantoni has acquired extensive experience in bankruptcy law, assisting leading banks and companies in both domestic and international insolvency procedures as well as in commercial law, having assisted leading companies, both domestic and foreign, in disputes concerning product damage liability, abuse of economic power and unfair competition.

Francesca Colantoni has assisted also a leading association of Italian banks in the arbitration proceedings before the ICSID Court against the Argentine Republic, on behalf of thousands of Italian bondholders, in relation to the issue of the so called “Tango bonds”.
