Giorgio has gained an extensive and comprehensive experience in litigation and arbitration matters, regularly advising leading international and domestic clients (including, inter alia, primary private equity funds and investment banks) in relation to corporate, banking, financial intermediation and commercial disputes, both in the pre-litigation and litigation phases as well as in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.

He is regularly the point of reference to the clients, providing his view and assessment in extremely sensitive situations, defining the final strategy to be adopted in order to strengthen the clients’ position and interests.

Giorgio is the leading counsel in some of the most important pre-litigation and litigation matters in relation to which Legance is providing its assistance.

Giorgio graduated with honors in 2009 at the Università degli Studi di Milano, where he is currently an assistant professor (“cultore della materia”) of civil law. He is the author of several publications on civil law matters on the main law reviews. He was admitted to the Italian Bar of Milan in 2013 and he is a Supreme Court barrister since 2023.

Prior to joining Legance in 2011, Giorgio worked for a primary Italian Law Firm.

Before graduating, Giorgio was a professional sailor, being enrolled with the Italian Navy Sporting Group, winning several Italian championships. In 2009 he was awarded with the bronze medal for the athletic worth by the Italian Athletic Olympic Committee (CONI).
