Nicola Balestieri focuses on administrative law, in particular in the energy & infrastructure industry. He performs due diligence, legal advisory and research activities in relation to projects and public contracts involving renewable energy sources (photovoltaic, wind and biogas plants), as well as fossil fuels (gas).
He dealt with environmental authorisation (EIA, SEA, Single Environmental Authorisation, etc.) and remediation procedures in the context of both the development of industrial sites and real estate projects. He also provided legal assistance in several town planning projects,
Matilde Finucci focuses on M&A, corporate law, and commercial law. She regularly assists private equity funds and industrial companies, both Italian and foreign, in extraordinary transactions, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations, including significant cross-border operations, as well as entrepreneurs in the sale of their companies and/or reinvestment in the capital of the acquiring company. She has gained significant experience in drafting and negotiating acquisition contracts, investment agreements, shareholders’ agreements, corporate bylaws, and management incentive plans. Since September 2024, she has been working at the firm’s London office as a Registered European Lawyer.
