Francesca Ricci focuses on environmental law. She has researched the intersection between human rights and the environment and won the Federico Baffi Study Award 2023 with a thesis concerning the establishment of an international crime of ecocide. She has participated in the Business and Human Rights Summer School organised by the HRIC and the University of Milan, and in the ELSA Excellence Italian Academy on Law, Sustainability and Digitalisation. During her studies she also took part in several international negotiation and mediation competitions, including those organised by the International Chamber of Commerce and the International Bar Association.
