The Associates’ General Meeting approved the appointments of 4 Partners and 13 Senior Counsel. At the same time, the appointments of Andrea Giannelli and Filippo Troisi as Co-Managing Partners and the appointment of Alberto Maggi as CEO also came into effect.
Milan, 23rd June 2025 – Following the appointments of Stefano Bandini, Serena Commisso, Marco D’Agostini, Andrea Tortora della Corte, the number of partners at Legance has risen to 70. The number of Senior Counsel has now reached 35 following the promotion of Giuseppe Alessandro, Federico Borgogno, Francesco Castoldi, Francesca Colantoni, Marco Cottone, Riccardo Daguati, Lorenzo De Rosa, Ada Esposito, Luca Lombardo, Riccardo Petrelli, Matteo Pierotti, Paolo Ronca and Emiliano Torresan.
Stefano Bandini mainly deals in M&A, focusing on listed companies, equity capital markets and corporate law. He regularly advises Italian and foreign companies and institutional investors in equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, with particular focus on cross-border transactions. Stefano has significant experience in public takeover and/or exchange offers, IPOs and capital increases, mergers, including cross-border transactions, and corporate governance.
Serena Commisso assists Italian and foreign companies in the management of all labour issues, with particular focus on the termination of employment relationships with top managers, incentive, retention and welfare plans, outsourcing processes, as well as in all labour matters related to M&A transactions. She has gained significant experience in incentive plans based on financial instruments including in regulated sectors, where she works in close coordination with other departments on tax, corporate and regulatory issues. Serena also assists clients in labour disputes concerning individual and collective dismissals, requalification of the work relationship, changes in working conditions, demotion, mobbing, as well as disputes concerning anti-union behaviour.
Marco D’Agostini has gained extensive experience in all aspects of the management and termination of employment relationships. In particular, he regularly deals with all issues related to recruitment, the use of different types of contracts and various flexible schemes, individual and collective redundancies, the management of labour relations in the context of extraordinary operations, incentive tools, tender contracts, company transfers and outsourcing.
Andrea Tortora della Corte assists both Italian and foreign clients in the structuring and execution of complex private M&A transactions, in particular in relation to private equity funds and industrial operators for strategic investments, joint ventures and other extraordinary finance transactions. He has gained experience across the board, having handled major transactions in a variety of sectors including fashion & luxury, real estate, insurance, food & beverage and mechanical engineering. He also assists start-ups and venture capital funds in both financing and investment transactions.
The appointments of Andrea Giannelli and Filippo Troisi as Co-Managing Partners and the appointment of Alberto Maggi as CEO have also come into effect.
The appointments of the new Partners and Senior Counsel – comments Andrea Giannelli – are in line with the Firm’s strategic plan, which has been able to recognise and enhance the preparation and commitment of professionals who have contributed to Legance’s growth in a highly competitive market.
