Emissions
In 2019, Legance launched an internal initiative to raise awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on sustainable cities, combating global warming, and responsible consumption. The project was designed to offset greenhouse gas emissions generated across Legance’s offices through environmental compensation schemes and energy efficiency measures.
All CO2 emissions produced by the Milan and Rome offices from 2021 to 2025 were fully offset through participation in a range of projects that support sustainable development and help reduce carbon output.
For emissions related to 2025, Legance supported the agricultural regeneration of the Salento region by joining the project promoted by Carborea Società Benefit and Olivami ETS, through the purchase of 1,743 Carborea-certified carbon credits originating from agricultural and forestry projects that are monitored, verified, and tracked on blockchain. Thanks to this initiative, Legance contributed to the planting of approximately 23,500 new olive trees across 48.5 hectares, transforming emissions offsetting into a tangible action for landscape restoration and the productive revival of a territory deeply affected by the phytosanitary crisis of recent years.
