Tax Litigation

Our Tax Law Department boasts a dedicated team of professionals who are widely recognised for their exceptional experience in both pre-litigation and litigation phases. Known for their ability to deliver targeted, innovative solutions, to meet each client’s specific needs.

Our work spans the entire spectrum of tax procedures, from risk assessment to assistance during inspections and audits. What sets our team apart is its longstanding relationships with the Italian Tax Authorities and the Guardia di Finanza, as well as its strong focus on identifying and advocating pragmatic, out-of-court resolutions that serve the client’s best interests.

Our multidisciplinary team – comprising tax lawyers and chartered accountants – provides clients with continuous, high-value support, offering strategic guidance throughout both the pre-litigation and litigation stages.

Where disputes escalate to court proceedings, our team provides in-depth expertise in representing clients before the Tax Courts of first and second instance, Italy’s Supreme Court, Corte Costituzionale, and the Court of Justice of the European Union.

As part of a fully integrated firm, our tax litigation team works closely with colleagues in the Criminal Law Department, enabling early identification and analysis of any criminal law implications tied to potential tax disputes. This synergistic approach ensures clients receive a comprehensive view of both the risks and opportunities involved.

Finally, the Tax Law Department offers specialist support in assessing and managing tax risks and disputes related to transfer pricing, helping clients address potential tax exposures in an informed and strategic fashion.
