Guendalina Catti De Gasperi’s practice focuses on European and Italian competition law, as well as the State aid and Foreign Subsidies Regulation regimes.
She has gained strong experience in relation to State aid proceedings and she advises Italian and international clients in respect to the filing obligations under the FSR, all antitrust-related matters (including merger control, abuse of dominant position and anti-competitive agreements/practices), as well as regulatory and consumer protection issues, before the European Commission, EU Courts, the Italian Competition Authority and Italian courts.
Guendalina advises companies active in a wide range of industries and has significant experience in the banking and finance, payment services, energy, manufacturing and ICT sectors.
In 2022, 2023 and 2024, she has been recognised as a Rising Star Antitrust – EU & Competition by The Legal 500 as follows: “Worth-mentioning is Guendalina Catti De Gasperi, who is very talented and always available in case of need” (2024).
She graduated, cum laude, from Università di Roma Tor Vergata. She obtained an LL.M. from King’s College London in 2009 and a Ph.D. from Bocconi University in 2017.
