Paolo Marzano co-heads the Intellectual Property department. Paolo is an expert of Intellectual Property, and in particular of copyright, information technology, protection of software and new technologies.
He deals regularly with trademark, unfair competition and protection of industrial design topics and assists several clients in the fashion, entertainment and film industry.
Paolo assists his clients in judicial and extrajudicial issues, providing legal opinions, negotiating all intellectual property right agreements as well as representing his clients in domestic and multijurisdictional complex litigation.
Paolo has been for a decade and until 2019 the Chairman of the Italian Copyright Committee, he teaches Intellectual Property Law at the Università “LUISS – Guido Carli” in Rome and is a member of the United States Copyright Society, as well as a member of the International Board of ALAI, INTA’s leadership and AIPPI.
In 2023, Paolo Marzano has been awarded “Lawyer of the year Sport” at the Legalcommunity IP&TMT Awards.
