Legance and UNICEF Italia entered into a Memorandum of Understanding under the “UNICEF Business Lab”, a project launched by UNICEF and intended for Italian companies, consisting in training and debate sessions on the protection and respect of the rights of under 18s, with the aim to identify and promote sustainable business strategies which take into account the rights of children and teenagers.

In particular, the Memorandum of Understanding includes several activities, including the joint organisation of: (i) training sessions on risk management, non-financial disclosure and brand reputation;
(ii) Legance-Unicef breakfast, an opportunity to discuss with well-known speakers and guests the rights of children and teenagers and other current issues; and (iii) seminars, roundtables and conferences with the aim to increase the awareness on the aforementioned issues.

Between 2018 and 2019 Legance and UNICEF organised three training sessions with experts and operators of the legal community on the above mentioned topics, in which different experiences and successful case have been discussed precedents. The last session, held on March 2019, was successfully organised in collaboration with AIGI, Associazione Italiana Giuristi d’Impresa.
